For any NASCAR fans that are headed to Fort Worth, Texas this weekend for today's O' Reilly 300 Nationwide race at Texas Motor Speedway (or watching at home on ESPN2 at 3PM Eastern), look out for the custom Red Dead Redemption paint job on Joey Logano's #20 Gamestop Toyota.

It shouldn't be too hard to spot, as Logano qualified on the pole for Saturday's race.

Rockstar Games have recently been answering fan questions in regards to Episodes From Liberty City and Red Dead Redemption. Some of the questions asked and answered include:

"Can you tell me what changes Rockstar Games needed to make to EFLC for release in Europe” - received via Twitter

We had to edit a tiny amount of some radio banter and a bit of TV content (literally a few seconds’ worth).  Unfortunately, making any content edits like that and then resubmitting is a fiddly and time-consuming process – hence the extra couple of weeks needed for getting the  game ready for release.

"Will there be any difficulty setting options for Red Dead Redemption?” - received via Mouthoff

We want players of all skill levels to enjoy Red Dead Redemption.  With that in mind, we’ve implemented levels of difficulty into the game that employ different types of auto-aiming. Casual mode gives you a full auto-aim system (and faster regenerating health).  Normal mode features snap-to-target with precise aiming using the right stick.  Expert mode implements free aim with no lock-on at all.  First time we have done this in an open world game, so we will be interested to see what people think having played with each option.

"How do you guys come up with character ideas? They are all extremely well done.” – ccm731

Thank you!  We are fortunate in that we happen to know a lot of freaks, so we tend to just change a couple of details and we’re good to go.  (Attention lawyers: That was a joke.  All characters are purely the product of our imagination, including all the annoying lawyers.)

The Dutch all-round gaming magazine named ‘Chief’ recently had the chance to check out L.A. Noire. Below are some of the details:

  • L.A. Noire is not a "Gta1947, Mafia II” game. There isn’t a game like this released yet, thus you can’t compare it.
  • The game does include a lot of actions, car chases and shoot outs.
  • Instead of taking out your gun, you will take out your notepad.
  • In a conversation with another person you have to see trough them to check out if they are telling the truth. Thanks to the ‘revolutionary’ facial animation system this is one of the biggest things in the game.
  • You can inspect houses of suspects and check everything out, from mirrors to steel pipes, all kinds of objects.
  • The crime scenes are based of real Los Angeles crime scenes back in ‘47.
  • You’ll have to work your way up in a world full of lies, corruption and hidden agenda’s.
  • The world is a authentic 40’s Los Angeles and everything in the world seems ‘right’. Nothing will hold you back to experience Los Angeles in 1947 to the fullest.
  • Core of the game: "Lone guy against the world fighting the good fight”
  • Rockstar ends with: "There is a enough mediocre crap in the industry, we want to try something different.”.

A Red Dead Redemption/Rockstar Games fan recently showed off his Red Dead Redemption tattoo at the igrandtheftauto.com. This is truely awesome and it is awesome that other people are willing to go to these extremes, so we don't have to! ;)

"Here is the story on how I came to the tattoo.

I heard about the game late 2008, i was interested... but mostly put it on the back shelf.  When they released the first trailer.. that's when it caught my real attention. Then it became a snowball effect.. all the videos they have released, gain my attention and love for the game.. all I could do is talk to my friends about it. The more I talked, the more excited I got.  Last week I was talking with some friends about my next tattoo on XBL, I said " I am considering getting the cover of RDR tattooed on me".

Everyone thought I was joking around, in my mind.. I was dead set.  This past Saturday, I called my tattoo artist (Josh Hazle of State of Mind Tattoos on Madeira Beach) to see when we could do this.  By chance he was at a tattoo convention and I rushed up there and 6 hours & $400 later... I got this amazing art work tattooed on my leg.  Well worth it.

There you go :). I really hope you guys like it, please let me know what everyone thinks of it."
