L.A. Noire developer Team Bondi have entered into Administration. Team Bondi have been
looming for awhile, back in August that they were close to bankruptcy. Since the release of L.A. Noire, there were rumours from staff
reporting that during development of L.A. Noire, that they were treated badly during the development of the game.
The company was questioning themselves whether the company would
survive since it’s split from Grand Theft Auto Developer, Rockstar
Games. Team Bondi is also rumoured to be selling its assets and
intellectual property to a rival studio, KMM Games, where many of its
senior developers have moved, including founder Brendan McNamara.
Rockstar currently own the intellectual property for the PC
version of L.A. Noire (and L.A. Noire in general), which is due to be released later this year. So PC
gamers who have been waiting for this shouldn’t be worried.
