Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two interactive is confirmed to be attending the E3 2011 that will be held in Los Angeles from 7th of June until the 9th Last year. Rockstar backed out of E3 last year because they wanted to invest more time in their projects.
What we already know.
- Agent (No news what so ever. Perhaps some possible news at the E3 Expo?)
- L.A Noire (This is currently being covered by Rockstar Games as well as RockstarGaming.)
- Max Payne 3 (Some screenshots, but nothing much more.)\
Rumours and possible announcements.
- New Grand Theft Auto reveal/teaser? (in our opinion, is highly possible.)
- Bully 2 (highly unlikely due to the controversy the original caused)
- Manhunt 3
- New Portable Game (PSP2)?

According to the rumours, Sony is working in their lab on the new PlayStation Portable 2 and is getting it ready to be dropped around the fall of 2011. Sony is announcing the PlayStation Portable 2 this January 27th in Tokyo, where they are going to give us fans all the wanted and needed information about the new hardware.
So the question is, will Rockstar Games be getting themselves ready for the PlayStation Portable 2? Over many years fans have cried that Rockstar Games never came out with San Andreas Stories for the PlayStation Portable, so will we be seeing San Andreas Stories this fall or will Rockstar Games come with a brand-new mind blowing game?
Only time will tell.
Cheers to RockstarBase.com for the news.

Rockstar Games have continued their games tips series with a new addition for the Red Dead Redemption: Liars and Cheats/Undead Nightmare expansions. Here is what they say, is the "most effective strategy of ensuring victory" in the Liars Dice:
First up, let's recap how the game actually works:
- You'll start Liar's Dice with a cup and five dice. The game
automatically takes care of shaking up the dice and slamming the cup on
the table for each player. This happens at the beginning of the game and
again whenever a player loses a die during the game.
- Look at your dice. Other players cannot see what you have, so
this is where you’ll need to begin guessing what other players might
have.
- When it's your turn to bid, you're first going to choose a side
of die: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6. Then you are going to guess how many of that
side of die are face up on the table, meaning the total number of that
one die under all cups. For example, you have two 6's under your cup in a
game with six players. It's a pretty good bet early in a game that with
so many other dice on the table, there's probably another 6 under
someone else's cup. So a very safe bet would be three 6's.
- After you bid three 6's, the player sitting to your left has three options:
- Raise the bid to anything above three 6's (example: four 1's, four 2's, and so on).
- Call the bid spot-on. If it turns out that there are exactly
three 6's on the table and the bid is called spot-on, everyone but the
current bidder will lose a die.
- Call your bluff. If the bidder doesn't think there are
actually three 6's on the table, calling a bluff will result in you
losing one die if there aren't three on the table, or the bidder losing
one die if there are three or more.
- As the game nears the end and more dice disappear, bids gets
lower (example: one 5, two 3's) and players run out of dice, making
things even more interesting.
- The last person with one or more dice remaining wins.

Back in March last year, Game Informer had an exclusive first look at L.A. Noire
and the Depth Analysis studio responsible for scanning the actors and
placing them in-game, but that wasn't all. One of Game
Informer's writers was selected by Rockstar Games to make a cameo as a minor character in
L.A. Noire.
While there was some hint of being involved in typical motion capture
(the typically anonymous process of donning a dotted jumpsuit and having
your movements recorded as data-points for digital characters), they had
no idea they were going to be acting out real lines and having their
entire performances scanned and placed inside the game itself. Here's
an excerpt from Game Informer writer Dan Ryckert's experiences:
"It quickly became apparent what I had unknowingly signed up for.
Team Bondi's tech affords them the luxury of recording actors with 32
highly precise cameras in a soundproof white room, which then creates an
amazingly realistic in-game model of whoever is in the chair. They
explained what the plan was for me...I'd be captured with the cameras,
allowing my exact likeness to be used for a journalist character in the
game. I'd be receiving a full 1940s makeover at the hands of Hollywood
stylists, then it was time to get in the chair and record dialogue while
the cameras captured every subtle motion of my face." |
"They buckled me into the chair and pointed out the X mark that
I'd need to keep my eyes trained on. Once I was adequately prepared,
the door shut behind me and I was alone in an almost eerie soundproof
room that looked like something out of 2001: A Space Odyssey (only with
32 cameras pointed directly at my face and a roomful of people on the
other side of the wall monitoring my every move)." |
