Thanks to G4 we now know that Rockstar North is looking for developers to work on a new Wii game;
There is little to go on at this point besides the listing for a Physics Programmer, and all the relevant experience and knowledge that you expect a person in such a position to have. But it’s noteworthy nonetheless, since the most recent Rockstar efforts to hit the Wii were Manhunt 2 and Rockstar Table Tennis back in 2007 and Bully: Scholarship Edition in 2008. ...Not only that though, Rockstar North has also posted a listing for a Junior Physics Programmer on a project for all major consoles as well as the PlayStation Portable, the Nintendo DS, and mobile phones, suggesting that there could also be another hand-held GTA game is in the works too. Of course, given the massive success that Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars has been, it’s no wonder Rockstar would be interested in exploring the mobile space again in the future. |
